Albert passed away quietly at Shuswap Lake General Hospital March 5, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Born on October 24, 1929 in Castor Alberta, Albert was predeceased by his brother Henry and his parents Henry and Regaina. Albert was a long time resident of Sicamous, he moved here with his dad Henry in 1972. He and his dad built their house on Kappel Street. Albert was well known at the Legion as a greeter as well as for driving his tractor, rototilling gardens all over town. Albert spent the last year at the Lodge in Sicamous where he made more friends and reconnected with old ones. Albert will always be known for his happy go lucky ways and will be missed.
Albert was a unique, one of kind man who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Always a friendly wave and huge smile as he rolled by on his tractor on his daily ventures. Our condolences go out to Albert’s family, friends and Comrades. R.I.P. John and Judy
