Watson, Leonard Elmer

September 30, 1948 – April 16, 2017
at the age of 68 years

There will be a celebration of life on May 6, 2017 in Valemount, BC at the Lions Hall starting at 1:00 p.m.

It is with heavy hearts that we had to say good bye to a loving husband, father, papa, great papa, brother, uncle and an amazing friend.  On April 16, 2017 we lost one of the most amazing men ever, Leonard Watson, who fought a courageous fight.  He leaves behind his wife of over 50 years Ann, daughter Tammy (Al), two sons Len (Luwana), Justin (Jazz), nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two loving brothers Doug and David, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends who will all miss him deeply.  He will never be forgotten as we will all carry a piece of him in our hearts along with numerous memories we have of him.  He is now reunited with his first born daughter Angela.

  1. My Dearest Ann,
Though we lost touch over the years you were always in my thoughts and my heart, and especially now at this difficult time. Please accept my Deepest Condolences to your and your family in the loss of Len.
    Most Sincerely,
    Kerry Parker

  2. This is a man everyone who came in contact with could be sure to feel safe. Generations of my family felt that way about him. My grandmothers, mother, grandfathers, all my siblings and friends knew life was OK when my dad’s best friend Grizz was around.
His arms were open and the love came without words. He holds the record for the greatest, warmest smile in the world. Just standing close to him would make you smile and cause inspiration and bravery in your soul.
I thank him for the memories of laughter and joy he brought to me when I was young. He is a great memory for my heart.
