Eugene John Weleschuk, 87, of Salmon Arm, BC, passed away on October 26, 2023 in Salmon Arm.

Funeral services will be held at a later time.

Eugene was born in Wostok, AB on July 6, 1936.  He married Joyce Peterson on May 22, 1965 in Salmon Arm, BC. Eugene was predeceased by his wife Joyce (Peterson), parents, John and Michelena (Stemack), brother Leo, sisters Rose (Nelson), and Emily (Bellerive). 

Eugene is survived by his children Raymond (Tami), Edward (Tina), Melody (Stephan), and Arthur (April), 8 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He started out his career as a farmer and then moved on to working in the logging industry where he spent many years in the back country learning where all the good fishing and camping places were. He loved to camp, fish and travel.  He traveled to 24 different countries and enjoyed seeing all the different ways people lived. He belonged to the Revelstoke ATV club for about 10 years. His greatest accomplishments in life was being married to his soul mate and raising his family. He wants to be remembered for all the happy times camping and traveling with friends and family.
