at the age of 50 years:
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Micheal Whitehead, 50 years of age, on March 22nd, 2025.
Kenny was a devoted Son, Brother, Uncle, Father, Papa and Friend.
Tugboat captain was his official title at the Canoe Forest Products Mill and he thrived in the roll.
Being born May 23rd, 1974 on a farm, Kenny had the soul of a true outdoorsman, with the passion to provide for those he loved.
Fishing, hunting, gardening and collecting were just a few of the many hobbies that held the interest of this jack-of-all-trades.
Kenny was loved by all who knew him for his youthful, bright and fun personality.
Nothing was more important to Kenny than the opportunity to teach and play with his grandchildren.
His playful spirit, curiosity and love for life will live on through them and his nephews.
Kenny has joined his beloved Grandmother, Mother, and father-in-law in heaven.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Tiffany, Father, Stepmother, Mother-in-law, Brother, Sister, 2 Nephews, 2 children, 2 grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
My memories of Kenny are from many years ago when we lived in the Salmon Arm area. Kenny was a lovely young man that cared deeply for those near and dear to him. His sense of humour was stellar and his laugh was contagious. Sending heartfelt condolences and hugs to his loved ones during this difficult time.
You were taken far too soon, too quickly, too unexpectedly. Hope you and your Grandpa’s are fishing.
