Williston, Harold George

October 23, 1938 – May 11, 2019
at the age of 80 years

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the SASCU Recreation Centre Auditorium, Salmon Arm.  Lunch to follow.

The family of Harold George Williston announce with great sadness the loss of their beloved, Harold who passed away on May 11, 2019 at Shuswap Lake General Hospital at 80 years old.  He was born October 23, 1938 in Douglastown, NB.
Harold will be deeply missed by his wife of 59 years, Reta Williston (nee McNary), daughters Twila (Stan) Webster, Alana (Kevin) Squair, LaDawn Williston and son James Williston, grandchildren Darren (Lanette) Squair, Kalena (Richard) Christenson, Craig Squair, Arla (Malcolm) Bruce, Ian Webster & Nyla Webster, great grandchildren Tucker, Walker, Harlee, Hayden, Lincoln & Libby Christenson, Mason & Aria Bruce.
Harold moved from Miramichi, NB to BC in his teens.  He was the founder of Wee Willie’s Bakery and Deli and founder of Viking Garage Doors.
He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the SASCU Recreation Centre Auditorium, Salmon Arm.  Lunch to follow.

  4. I have uncounted memories of Harold and Reta when they operated Wee Willie’s Bakery and the College food Service at Okanagan College. You couldn’t match Harold’s wit and general good sense of humour. We had a lot of laughs

  5. Harold and his family certainly put their personal stamp on Salmon Arm when they operated Wee Willie’s Bakery. Many are still missing it as I am there’s no doubt. My condolences to his family.
