at the age of 95 years
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Yamamoto. Fred was born in Port Haney (now Maple Ridge), BC to parents Isamu & Tsunako Yamamoto. He leaves behind his daughter Kathryn (Peter), son Barry (Kathy), daughter Carol (Bill) and daughter-in-law Kathleen, 7 grandchildren and their spouses and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Tsunako and Isamu Yamamoto, his three brothers, his son Lorne, daughter-in-law Judy and his wife Yoshiko, who he dearly wanted to be with.
Thank you to the staff at Andover Terrace for taking such good care of him, his fellow residents at Andover who were so friendly and kind to him and to Dr. Sawatzky-Martens and his staff for always responding so quickly when we needed them.

My condolences to the family. I worked at Andover and enjoyed my chats with Fred very much. He would always laugh at my silly jokes and I looked forward to his smile. I am sorry for your loss.
