Zinck, Roger Barry

June 5, 1939 – June 3, 2021
at the age of 82 years

Sadly, we regret the passing of Roger Zinck, a long-time farmer in Scotch Creek area and former logger.  He is survived by his wife Marie of fifty-nine years, his son Terry (Emily) Zinck, daughter Teresa (Dan) Sexton, grandchildren Tanner, Sydney, Blake and Nick as well as his siblings, sisters Norma, Loretta and brother Tom (Peg) along with numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Lora and his sisters Rita and Netta. 

Roger sat on the board of many organizations including, Martin Prairie Stock Association, B.C. Livestock Producers Co-op, along with many other local associations.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Donations in memory of Roger can be made to the North Shuswap Historical Society.

  1. So sorry to hear of Roger’s passing, the years we were living in Scotch Creek we enjoyed him dropping in for a visit, we have lots of good memories. Our deepest condolences to you Marie and your family.

  3. I never really knew Roger, but I went to school with Tom and Loretta, and it sounds like he was a wonderful person as are his siblings.

  5. My sincere condolences, Marie and family, on Roger’s passing. Roger was a “fixture” for many years at Kamloops Stockmen’s Association meetings and served several terms as a director. I was secretary for a lot of those years; Roger’s input and commitment was always appreciated. I am very sorry for your loss.
