Early morning August 3rd at the age of 85, Floyd McKnight went home to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family.  Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Frances, daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Corey, son Chris, four grandsons Andy, Paul, Justin and wife Nikki, Brandon and wife Kelsey, granddaughter Trista and husband Neil, great grandchildren Gabriel and Avery.   We all will miss him greatly but are thankful knowing that he is with the Lord and look forward to the time when we will see him again.

  2. just found this posting,
    Thank you for your sentiments,
To both our cousins, and my old schoolmate, Cathy I am also sorry to hear of your loss my deepest sympathy for you and your families loss of your dad

  3. Mrs McKnight, Chris, and Elizabeth: My sincere condolences on your loss. I came across Mr McKnight’s obituary unexpectedly, and although it’s been many years since those high school days, felt obliged to acknowledge his passing. Having lost my dad almost four years ago, I empathize with the many emotions, reflections, and memories that families share under such circumstances. To everything there is a season, with sympathy,
    Catherine Backman

  4. Aunt Fran, Elizabeth, Chris and families: Please accept our deepest sympathy, we are thinking of you. We have many fond memories of Uncle Floyd and particularly his commitment to old time music, family and community. We will miss him; he was loved.
