Cawthorpe, Guy “Ian”

December 2, 1940 – January 1, 2020
at the age of 79 years

It is with heavy hearts, that we share the passing of Ian Cawthorpe.  Ian passed away January 1, 2020, surrounded by his loving family in Salmon Arm, BC.  He was born in Battleford, Saskatchewan on December 2, 1940.
Ian is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Charlotte, his only daughter Heather Cawthorpe-Forsyth (Kevin), two beautiful grandchildren:  Korbin and Denali, three sisters:  Joan, Rita (Cal), and Zoa, along with many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by infant son Charles, parents Linden and Mary, seven brothers and three sisters.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital for your kindness and care.
There will be no service at Ian’s request, however a celebration of life will be held in Dawson Creek, BC at a later date.
