Andrus, Clifford Dougall

June 27, 1932 – June 28, 2018
at the age of 86 years.

Son of Clifford Everett Andrus and Clarice Pauline Andrus (nee Lockard).  Predeceased by his step son Dale Dupuis and survived by his wife Rita, children Myles (Ana) and Susan, grandchildren Dale, Emily, Andrew and Thomas, plus his best little buddy Berry.  He also leaves behind cousins Bev, Val, Tim, Lorraine and Doreen, who were like siblings to him, having lived with them at different times as a boy.  Cliff began  his journey in Calgary General Hospital and spent most of his childhood in Sunnyside, Calgary.  He also lived awhile on the Oliver Farm in Sundrie, AB.  Though he tried on many hats he was most proud to serve ten years in the RCAF as a fireman then from 1964 to 1991 with the CPR as a Railroader, working his way up to Engineer.  He was dedicated to his job and never turned down a trip.  Afterward, he retired to his beloved Shuswap, BC and swore he would never leave.  We thank the many homecare aides, nurses and doctors in Chase and at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice where he spent his last days.  As per his wishes, there will be no funeral but a tree will be planted to commemorate his life.
