at the age of 96 years:
A celebration of life will be held on July 29 in Salmon Arm. If you would like to attend, please contact the family at Boyko000@telus.net
It is with great sorrow that the family of Paul Boyko announces that he has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Born in Ardel, Saskatchewan, he passed at the age of 96 in Salmon Arm, BC. Remembered with love and admiration by Marie, his devoted wife of 74 years, as well as his two children, Clare (Joan) and Carol (Roger), his 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. He was predeceased by his siblings, Michael, Anne, Agnes, Vera and James. After raising their family in Salmon Arm, Paul and Marie moved to Prince George where they lived for 40 years while making time to travel the world. Upon his retirement at the age of 90 from Peterbilt Trucking, they came back home to Salmon Arm in 2019.
Paul is remembered for his lighthearted nature, his love of playing cards, fishing, golfing, and travelling. He found joy in celebration, always ensuring there was time to gather and create memories with loved ones. Paul was a devoted member of his church and the Gideon Bible Organization, often volunteering with Marie by his side.
The family sincerely wish to thank all the wonderful and caring staff at the Good Samaritan Hillside Village. May God bless you for the important work that you do.

We wish you our deepest sympathy.
We are still in remembering of Paul and Mary while were just starting attending Glad Tiding Pentecostal church.
We attended a tobogan party at their place and had a great time of fellowship.
From there we accepted the Lord.
So everyone had a part of us becoming Christian which we are so blessed and thankful for.
My condolences to Marie, Carol, Clare and their families. I have known Clare and Carol since the days of junior high school and I remember Paul as their dad. I remember the cabin on the lake at Sandy Point. He took us on road trips in the Boy Scouts: to Calgary for camp at Bragg Creek and to Vancouver for our trip on the navy vessel to Victoria for our Queen Scout ceremony. A highlights on one of those trips was listening to a NASA moon landing on the car radio as we were travelling. May you rest in peace, Paul.
So sorry Marie and family. I did miss you when you moved but always enjoyed the times spent together.
I was saddened to hear this news. Paul and Marie Boyko were neighbors to the Eckstadt Family when we lived on Lakeshore Road in Salmon Arm. My Mother, Denise Eckstadt, was great friends with their Family. Paul arranged for me to stay with a friend or relative in Montreal so I could attend Expo ’67 there for two months in the summer. Such a wonderful Christian Family. They showed love, concern and compassion to many and will be greatly missed. I am very sorry that we will be away on July 29 and unable to attend the Celebration of Life. Sending blessings to you all.
Our condolences to Paul’s family.
Paul was a great friend. Doug’s first employer. Organized many outings for teens in the Church.
As a team , Paul and Marie were active in the lives of those they came in contact with.
Paul will be missed.
