It is heavy hearts we announce the passing of Phil on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.  He was predeceased by his father Art, mother Anne, brothers Wayne and Bob and sister Marilyn.  Phil is survived by his wife Marg of 58 years of marriage, children Barrie and Dale(Marjorie), grandchildren Chris(Serena), Brooke (Matt), Riley(Lauren), Katelin(Troy), Alicia(Nolan), great grandchildren Maya and Owen, siblings Shirley (Bryan), sister in law Pat, brother in law Jim(Penny), long time friends Ken(Lena), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Seppala, Kenneth “Ken” Allen

July 21, 1958 – January 2, 2025
at the age of 66 years:     

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Seppala on January 2, 2025, at the age of 66.

Ken was born in Prince George BC, spent most of his life working and living in the Shuswap, Sicamous area, and passed away in Kelowna BC.

Ken was pre-deceased by his father Allen Seppala and is survived by his mother Alice Broeder(Vern), his brother Jerry Seppala, his sister Judy Armstrong(Greg),  his brother Brian Seppala(Tammy), nieces Cora-Lynn and Kealin, nephews Drew, Dustin, Brendan, and Matias.

He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends.

at the age of 62 years:     

Celebration of Life:  Saturday, January 18, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Fischer’s Funeral Services, 4060 1st Ave. SW, Salmon Arm

A bookkeeper until the end, Dawn Lynn Sanderson, 62, took her final rest on December 31, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at Shuswap Lake General Hospital. Born to Don & Elsie Appel on May 14, 1962 in Chilliwack, BC, Dawn lived a life filled with love, compassion, & strength.

She was a devoted mother, sister, & friend known for her strong work ethic, sense of humour, & love of dogs. Throughout her life, Dawn was an active swimmer, gardener, & reader. 

She is survived by her sister Marie, children Brandi(Matt McAllister) & Travis(Kelsey Granger), & grandchildren Kiara, Cason, & Emerson, who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
