It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and wife (Grace) Lorraine Henderson nee Dyer after a brief battle with cancer. Lorraine passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, with loved ones beside her.
Lorraine is survived by her husband Les, her fur babies Holly and Desi, brothers Wayne (Barbara) and Roger (Anne) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lorraine was born on September 17, 1954, to Perce and Grace Dyer in Peterborough, Ontario, she was the youngest of three children.
When Lorraine was 17 years old, she moved to BC. Lorriane’s spent the majority of her working life as a care aid at Florence Nightingale Care Home in Surrey BC, where she worked until she retired.
Lorraine met her husband Les in 1975, and they were married on September 12, 1980. Lorraine and Les travelled all over Canada and the United States in the truck and camper.
In 1992 they found their little piece of heaven, Seymour Arm. In 1999 they broke ground and started to build their dream home, their little cabin in the woods, and Seymour Arm became their home.
Lorraine was a pillar in her community and shared her wonderful smile and sense of humor, her every changing hair colours and sparkling nails.
Lorraine will be greatly missed by all her family, fur babies and friends.

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Gail Delores Hamilton (Nowacki) on September 5, 2024, at Salmon Arm General Hospital, at the age of 75.
Gail is lovingly remembered by her husband, Hank Nowacki, her son Chad Nowacki, and stepson Niel Clarke. She will also be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the close-knit community at Rotary Gardens.
Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
May her memory live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Geraldine “Geri” Stewart (Halliburton), a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully at the age of 67 on September 2nd, 2024, after a 9 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her boys to the very end.
Geri was the heart of her family. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Halliburton, and grandson, Lincoln.As the devoted mother of four sons—Ben, Doug, Dan (Chali), and Dustin (Sam)—she also embraced many others with her nurturing spirit. She adored spending time with her family, especially her nine surviving grandchildren: Gauge, Dexter, Bremmy, Charlie, Vienna, Diesel, Corbin, Oakland, and Harlow, ensuring that her deep love of family was passed down to each generation.
Geri is survived by her father, Herb, and her siblings: brothers Dwayne (Dawn), Steve (June), Sandy (Arlene), Gordon, and her sister Kelli (John). She was also a beloved aunt to numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, never missing the chance to send a birthday card to each of them.
Geri proudly served for 25 years in the Armed Forces, dedicating much of her time as an officer with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, particularly the 222 Shuswap Squadron in Salmon Arm and at the Pacific Regional Gliding School in Comox during summers. In addition to her military service, she spent over 30 years as a dedicated travel agent at various agencies in Salmon Arm. A celebration of life is being planned, with details to be announced at a later date.
