Davidson, Brenda Jean

October 23, 1951 – August 5, 2023
at the age of 71 years

Best known as BABA to her family Brenda was in her 72nd year of life.
Brenda was born in SOURIS, MB and passed away at home in SALMON ARM, BC
Brenda is survived by husband GARRY, sons TY and CLAY, granddaughters BROOKLYN and PARKER, and her younger brother BRENT.
Brenda graduated from SOURIS COLLEGIATE, BRANDON UNIVERSITY with a BA, and then entered and graduated from the CA program at the University of MANITOBA.
Brenda’s accounting designation brought her and family to BC in 1981 until her passing.
Brenda had just completed her 17th year of sobriety and had taking it upon herself to assist other with addiction issues.
Brenda’s other passions included fashion, cooking, reading, and of course her family.

    She was a life force and I enjoyed our friendship that we had a few years ago. We had great conversations. Very “civilized “ as she would say.

  2. Garry and Family We recently heard of Brenda’s passing. Our hearts go out to you Garry and the family. We enjoyed our chats with Brenda when she was walking the dog or when we saw her in the mall.

  3. I don’t know what to say. My heart is brokenI just found out today of Brenda’s passing. I am so very sorry Garry, Clay, Ty, Brooklyn and Parker. She will be missed greatly by so many . So kind, thoughtful , generous and loving are just a few of the words to describe her. I can only hope, and aspire to become one day, the kind of mother, grandmother and friend that she was.

  4. Dear Garry, Carol and I recently heard that Brenda passed in August and since finding the obituary we finally can share our condolences and wonderful memories we share together! We hope that you and your boys will be stronger as we know Brenda would love it that way! Our sincerest condolences!

  7. Dear Garry and family. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Brenda had an energy about her that could be felt as soon as she walked in the room. Every time I spoke with Brenda the first thing she would do is ask me how I was, and then she would brag about her wonderful family. She was so proud of all of her people. You guys were the bright light in her life. I feel like she left this world knowing her work was done here.I am thinking of all of you with a heavy heart.

  9. Brenda and I became good friends in the last few years. We always had so much to share at our coffee times. She recently helped me through a difficult health issue. I will hold her in my heart . Love to the family. She was so proud of her granddaughters.
