July 4, 1925 – August 1, 2021
at the age of 96 years:

Memorial service: 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9th, at Broadview Church, 350 30th St NE, Salmon Arm, BC.

Mark 6:31
Jesus says : “Come unto me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest”

Helen passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on  August 1st, 2021. Age 96 years.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Henry, and their children, Vina (Mal), John (Sandi), Daniel (Cheri), David, Ruth (Jerry), Susan (Leo), and Tamara, her 13 Grandchildren, and 19 Great-grandchildren.  Also, her sister, Edna, and brothers, Albert (Catherine), Elmer, and Joseph (Fern), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Over the years, The Klassen’s home was open to everyone, with warmth and hospitality, often enjoying Helen’s delicious cooking and baking. Particularly, her homemade buns. Henry and Helen became like parents and grandparents to many of those that spent time there.

Helen loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family and friends.

She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

The family wishes to thank Drs. Howatt and Greive and the nurses at Shuswap Lake General hospital who cared for her.
