A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, March 28, 2026 at Lakeside Community Church in Salmon Arm.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to ALS Canada (www.ALS.ca) in his remembrance.

Ken passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 in Bastion Place, Salmon Arm at the age of 89 after a short battle with ALS.  He was born January 2, 1937 in Vancouver, BC to Arnold and Helen Martin.  He lived in Vancouver until 1974 when he and his young family relocated to Salmon Arm.  Ken is predeceased by his beloved wife Dolly (Lori) and survived by his children Georgia, Rodney, and Trevor, sister Sandy, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ken was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the outdoors and serving his community.  He was an active member in many areas of the Free Methodist Church, and his warm greeting on Sunday mornings could always be counted on.  He always had time to catch up with friends that he might run into around town or lend a hand to anyone who may need it, even if they were complete strangers.  Ken’s legacy will be the lives that he touched doing God’s work in his generous and kind way.  We know he has gone to be with the love of his life in their eternal home, but we will miss his hugs, his laugh, and his ability to lift up and encourage everyone around him.
