Orser, Wayne Philip

April 25, 1947 – June 30, 2020
at the age of 73 years

Wayne was born on April 25, 1947 in New Westminster, BC and pass on June 30, 2020 in Vernon, BC.
Wayne will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn, son Jess (Jan) and granddogs Willow and Cash, son Travis (Corinne) and granddaughter Abigail as well as numerous extended family and friends.  He leaves us all a lifetime of memories to treasure.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents Phil and Holly, brother Marvin, as well as many special pets.
Wayne enjoyed travelling, sailing, skiing, biking, hiking and being with family and friends.  He enjoyed his retirement years on Okanagan Lake at Louis Estates outside Vernon.  Being a mechanic and carpenter, he always had anything you needed to borrow, including a helping hand.
At Wayne’s request, there will be no service.

  1. I am so sad to hear of the passing of Wayne. I remember him as being a kind, calm man. He was always busy doing something.
I have memories of my children and myself spending a wonderful day on your sail boat with your family. As well many visits at your home in Pinantan, which Wayne built.

Marilyn our thoughts are with you and your family,

    Big hugs,
    Debbie and Trevor McBride

Marilyn, I would like to chat with you one day.

  2. Marilyn, I’m so sorry to read about Wayne’s passing. Our times spent together at Pinantan were always a joy, looking over Wayne’s current projects and especially checking out the progress on your home. He was a talented man and I know will be missed by many, especially you and your boys. Thinking of you at this sad time. Warm regards, Pam

  3. Marilyn, I was saddened to hear of Wayne’s death. Please accept my prayers for love and peace during this sad time. Megan St. Michael

  4. Marilyn, I’m sorry to hear of Wayne’s death. Wayne was such a good friend to the UCC/TRU Early Childhood Education faculty. When Wayne came over to our classroom to help us with a repair or a modification to equipment I knew we were in excellent hands. With his broad smile and twinkling eyes, he was patient with our requests and the quality of workmanship was excellent.

My thoughts are with you and your family,
