at the age of 74 years:
It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Osborne at his home in Celista, BC at the age of 74. Wayne was born in Kaslo, BC on January 5, 1951 and had been a resident of Celista since 2017.
Wayne was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife Christine, his children Paul, Jenny and Christopher and his grandchildren Cyrus, Ezra, Elias, Brandon, Nauvoo, Jacob and Natalie.
Wayne enjoyed a long and successful career in mining, where he proudly worked for five decades. He will be remembered for his kindness, love and the good times we shared.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on a future date in the spring or summer of 2026.
So sad to hear of Wayne’s passing. Barry and I knew him very well from our young school years. My dad would give him odd jobs around our house, painting the carport etc to give him extra money and my mom would feed him lots of hot dogs. He was a special friend from long ago. Janice Eddy
