Harvey started grade 1 in school when I did and we went through all school years together. I lost touch with him for a few years then we both wound up in Air Traffic Control and worked in Vancouver Area Control Centre for many years. Harvey was a good controller and always a very good fellow and a real Gentleman. Condolences to Carol, who is not well herself, and all the family.

My condolences and deep sympathy for Harvey’s family.
Harvey was my on-the-job (OJI instructor when I was transferred from the Montreal Area Control Centre to the Vancouver Area Control Centre in 1977. He was a natural at teaching and I owe him much for what I learned from him.
Through out all those years that we worked together he was always a gentleman and a professional. May you rest in peace Harvey and clear each new arrival at your facility for a safe and happy landing.
