It is with great sadness that the family of Valerie Florence Trenholm announces her passing in Kelowna, B.C. on December 7, 2018. Her time was taken much too soon at the age of 74.
Valerie will be lovingly remembered always by her husband Edward, two daughters Debbie and Charmane, sister Beverley Bracklow, her four grandchildren: Justin and Ashley Lazzarotto, Zoe and Blake Lafond as well, as her extended loving family. She leaves behind the friendship and love of numerous close friends, along with many more who had the pleasure of sharing a laugh with her.
Please join us for a small memorial service on Saturday, December 15, 2018, 1:00 pm, upstairs at the Sicamous Legion.  As per Val’s request there will be a big celebration of life to follow in the summer, to be posted at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to “The Heart & Stroke Foundation”.

  1. I can’t believe I just found this – Val & I met when she was 8 and I was 10. We were almost inseparable for the next 10 years – playing dolls, skipping, bike riding and of course roller skating time and miles kept us apart but we did have our phone calls about once a year. Always hoped to get to Sicamous for a surprise visit. My belated condolences to the family.

  2. Ed, Debbie, Charmane and families. We are very sorry to hear of Val’s passing. Have many memories of your Mom when we lived in Revelstoke. Especially when we were working on the grad committee together. With our deepest sympathy and prayers.
