Hill, Glenn Edward

May 24, 1955 – April 2, 2025
at the age of 69 years:

     Glenn Hill died unexpectedly in Kelowna, BC. He was born in Yorkton, SK, and was a resident of Salmon Arm since 1988. Glenn had a strong sense of community and was active with local organizations. Most notably, he was involved in minor football and hockey, Rotary, and the building of the Little Mountain Sports Complex. Glenn served as the SASCU board chair for several terms. Glenn worked as a Professional Forester for most of his career. He also had his own building inspection business, Shuswap Consulting Services.

Above all, he loved his family and friends. His grandson, Duncan, had a special place in his heart. Glenn is survived by his wife, Kirstine, daughter Caitlin Wallis (Bradley), son Richard, grandson Duncan Wallis, his siblings Bob Hill and Valerie Huffman and their families.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local charity. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

at the age of 68 years:

         John was born in Alliston, Ontario and passed away in Salmon Arm at the age of 68 years and 7 months.

He was a great man and loved going to Tim Horton’s, reading books and helping people.

at the age of 65 years:     

It is with great sadness that the Grayston family announces that Donald Todd Grayston passed away March 31st 2025.  He was born in Kamloops, BC, December 14th 1959.

Todd is survived by his four children:  Marshall (Sara), Courtney (Jeremy) whom he shared with his ex-wife Cathy, Quinlan and Rhyan whom he shared with his ex-spouse Trish, his grandson Ziggy and his brother Kim. 

Please let us remember the good times we had with Todd.  He was a very fun, charismatic and energetic man.

at the age of 75 years:

               A celebration of life will be held 3:30pm on May 31st, 2025 at the Sicamous Senior’s Centre. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.

             It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Ernest Hyam, who left us on March 30th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Enderby, BC, on May 27th, 1949, Stephen spent most of his life in Sicamous, BC, where he raised his family and built the business that he would eventually retire from. Steve was a beloved father to Jennifer (Jason) and Ross (Lise), and grandfather to Carolyn (Sydney), Ian, Jayne, Graham, Isabella, and Andrew. He was also a friend to many, best known for his quiet and generous nature. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 Steve’s life was marked by his love for his family and the joy he had fishing, skiing, and puttering around his cabin. After a long battle with cancer, he passed away peacefully at his home in Sicamous, BC, surrounded by the people he loved. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
